wireless assistant does not start automatically

My HP wireless assistant used to open and turn on automatically, now it does not. How do I correc this problem? I have to keep it pinned to the task bar so I can turn the combo on each time I start up my computer. Anyone have any suggestions?

Go to Device Manager, select Network adapters, open the "Properties" for the wireless device. make sure in "Power management" tab, there is a "tick" in the box for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
