This problem happened after I had been at my inlaw's and
connected wirelessly to their internet provided by
Frontier. Then, when I got home that night and plugged
my charter cable into my laptop and tried to view Hulu,
this message appeared:
Based on your IP address, we noticed you are trying to
access hulu through an anonymous proxy tool. Hulu is not
currently available outside the U.S. If you're in the
U.S., you'll need to disable your anonymizer to access
videos on Hulu.
This was never a problem previously. I have watched
videos frequently on Hulu.com. Then on 9.13.12 I could
not view them.
I called my internet provider and they had me try to
renew my IP address two different ways.
2-unscrew the coaxial cable from the modem and wait 2
I tried both methods and then tried to view video on
Hulu.com and I got the same message regarding an
anonymous proxy. They recommend I contact HP.
Did something happen when I was at my inlaws connected
wirelessly that would change my home cable ip address or
I tried to go to a local restaurant and use their wifi
and there I could view Hulu on my computer. I just
cannot view Hulu videos at home. I can view Netflix and
videos from other websites at home.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Not sure what's going on, but a good reset of the TCP/IP settings may work. Here is an article from Microsoft that outlines the steps to take: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357.
