What does a blue screen with error message 005A1654 mean on my hp photosmart 5520?

Hi Jcrawford2006,

 

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-in-One Printer and getting a blue screen with an error. Have you tried to reset the printer unplug the printer and press the power button 3 times and plug it back in? Plug the power adapter directly into a functioning wall outlet,
and into the computer. Do not plug it into a power strip, surge protector, or secondary power source. Here is a firmwareupdate to download and install with your computer.  Here is a link to the HP Print and Scan Doctor. The HP Print and Scan Doctor will run a check on your system as well as the printer.
