Hello,

I see that you're having an issue scanning on your printer. This could be a hardware or software isue depending on the situation.

What exactly is the issue?

Are you receiving any error messages on the notebook or printer when trying to scan?

Is solution center giving you an error message while trying to scan?

Could you please give a little more information about the issue you're having?

I look forward to your response.

THX

Re: HP Officejet 7410 All In one no wireless scan

Yes, you should be able to use the scan function on the notebook. I would suggest uninstalling the current software, then reinstalling the full feature software from here.

Here are the steps to doing a L3 uninstall.

1.     Load your driver CD

2.     Navigate to the util\CCC directory on the CD.

3.     There will be a series of batch files, uninstall_L1.bat through uninstall_L4.bat.

4.     I would suggest you run uninstall_L3.bat.

I suggest you do not run the uninstall_L4.bat file!!

Once you uninstall the software, and then restart. After the restart, you can go ahead and install the software from the link I gave you above.

Also, how far away is the notebook from the printer when you try to scan? Can you print fine from the same distance?

Let me know the outcome.
