Hi.

I have a Pavilion g6 1260er notebook.

I have installed a driver, which is attached in this topic, but it didn't help with my issue.

My Broadcom WiFi adapter always loses internet connection.

When I try to reconnect, I get an error:  http://s019.radikal.ru/i609/1205/70/c7ffb76ddc66.jpg

"Windows can not connect to Snowy Daniels"

"Troubleshooting"

When I press "Troubleshooting", my PC freezes and only reboot helps.

What can you advise to me?

I've tried every driver I can find for this device, and every one ends with the same result.  My wireless card disconnects every time I put stress on it with a large download.  I even got the physical card replaced by HP warranty and it continues to happen.  Are the drivers for this card just junk?  Should I just eat the cost of buying a different brand/model of wireless/bluetooth 1x1?

Just signed up and need help w broadcom BCM4311 in Presario F700. Light stays orange. Vista does not detect hardware. Bios reset does not correct. Cleaned hardware connections-seem fine.
Older threads may have solution but Im not sure.

Do you have the nVidia chipset and/or GPU in your notebook?

If so, there is a good possibility the mini-PCie slot that powers the card went out.

The solution is to replace the motherboard.  Of course I think that would be throwing good money after bad.
