Hi:

Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with the brightness adjusting issue because I have no idea what the problem is.

The graphics drivers are installed which means the brightness should be able to be adjusted with the Fn Keys.

The other drivers you need are:

Ethernet Controller:

Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver

File name: sp65599.exe

Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller

Intel USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver

File name: sp66602.exe

1. The Intel Chipset Installation Utility driver and reboot. (smbus controller)

2. The Intel HD graphics driver and reboot.

3. The nvidia graphics driver and reboot. (3D video controller)

Hi:

Did the bluetooth driver install?

If so then that wireless driver should also have installed.

Please do the following so I can make sure that your notebook has a Ralink wireless card.

I will need you to perform a short set of clicks in order for me to identify the model wireless card that needs the driver.

Since there is no wireless driver installed, there should be a device labeled Network Controller in the device manager under an Other Devices category.  The network controller device will have a little ! mark next to it.

So, find the network controller device, click on that and then click on the Details tab.

Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.

Drop down on that list and select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

You're very welcome.

Did you install the graphics drivers?

You need to have the graphics driver installed in order to control the brightness with the function keys.

If you have both the nvidia and Intel graphic adapters showing up under the display adapters category in the device manager, then the graphics drivers were successfully installed.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to install this software and see if that gets the Fn keys to work.
