Hey All- I Was getting The Code 39 Error. Had To Restore Old Version Of Driver. Tried RestoriNg WhOle System, ButThat Didn't Work. Had To Do It From Device Settings. Also, W8 Doesn'T Have Option To disable Roaming Sensitivity. I Put It To Lowest, ButThat Didn't Work. Good Luck.

I bought an HP Envy laptop with the Ralink 3290 wifi adapter at the end of April, haven't had internet access since delivery (the connection is always limited). I have spent more than four days with HP customer support, who's latest proposed solution is to replace my router, as it can't be a problem with the laptop...despite the fact that I have about ten other devices accessing the web on the same wifi network. The current driver is 5.0.46, but I've tried them all since 5.0.05 with no joy!
Before I return the laptop, has anyone experienced similar issues? Running windows 8.1 64,

This fixed everything!! Spent hours trawling the internet trying to find out what was going on; I have a three week old HP Envy laptop with the same wifi adapter and when playing League of Legends the lag spiking all the way through.
