I had to search and search if anyone else has this happen to them this is what fixed mine back to normal.

Troubleshooting

  • Verify that your adapter is listed under Network adapters in the Device Manager.
  • If the adapter is not listed, right-click Network adapters and select Scan for hardware changes. You can also reboot your system.
  • Verify that your adapter is enabled in the Device Manager. When the adapter is disabled, a red X (for Windows* XP) or a black arrow (for Windows Vista* and Windows* 7) is displayed on the device. Right-click the adapter and select Enable from the menu.
  • When the adapter displays a yellow exclamation point, right-click the adapter and reinstall the driver.
  • Contact your computer manufacturer for other troubleshooting options.

Hello rmora2083.  I understand you are wondering if you'd need to perform these steps often.

You should not have to perform this solution repeatedly.  However, if you do there may be other steps which you need to take.  If the problem persists I will try to locate an updated driver for you to install.

If you reboot the notebook does the problem persist?

What version of Windows are you running?

What is the product number of your notebook?  This document can show you where it is located.

Have a good day!  I'll keep an eye out for your reply.
