I have set up my HP 5512. I have a wireless connection.
I can not use the eprint function on the front panel. When I try to it tells me I can not connect with web services or I need to enter a proxy address.
I do not know what a proxy address is.
I am about ready to take this printer back.
Can anyone help me figure out how to use the eprint function?

Hi SOJO1,
I would suggest reconnecting the printer to the network by running the Wireless setup wizard and try to launch web services again. If this does not help, you may need to change some DNS settings within the printers EWS (embedded web server) To do this, put the IP address into a browser window on your PC.
This should launch the EWS. Within the EWS, select the network tab. under the network tab, select "networking".
Then select "network address" (IP). Do not change the IP configuration at the top. Go to the bottom under "DNS Address configuration “and select "Manual DNS server”. Under manual DNS server, input 8.8.8.8 (one 8 in each box) on the first line, and 8.8.4.4 on the second line. Hit the "Apply" button at the bottom.
Now try to connect to Web Services again.
