Re: AirPrint - how to use Apple's AirPrint solution on HP ePrint Printers

I've tried your suggested solution with my Photosmrt 7510. AirPrint worked for one document ONE time and I haven't been able to get it to work since.  This is very discouraging.  I already returned an OfficeJet 8500 because I couldn't get AirPrint to work on it...

It sounds like your router is causing problems by not reliably passing mdns (Bonjour) packets. What make and model router do you have?

Re: AirPrint - how to use Apple's AirPrint solution on HP ePrint Printers

I suspected the same so I  bought another router. It is a Belkin. It is N300 Wireless N Modem Router Model no F9J1002v1. The old one which I was almost certain did not work with the Air Print was ZyXELCommunications Corporation Model number P-660HW-71v3. The Belkini is new.

Re: AirPrint - how to use Apple's AirPrint solution on HP ePrint Printers

I'm using a Belkin N750.  Others in this thread have said the problem's may not

be the printer but the router, but would AirPrint work one time and not again

if it's the router?

Re: AirPrint - how to use Apple's AirPrint solution on HP ePrint Printers

I've just bought an HP Photosmart 5510 and i'm not getting it to work with AirPrint.. tried 100 times and 1000 different things.
When i select an e-mail on my iPhone and tap "Print" there's no printer showing up. When i let him search for AirPrint-Printers he tells me he doesn't find any printer...

Both (iPhone and Photosmart 5510) are in the same Wireless network.

NOTE :  Printing through my WiFI network (on my MacBookPro) does work .

anyone knows what's the issue?

If you are sure that your printer and iOS device are on the same network then the problem may be your router. What make and model router do you have?

Ther seems to be an increasing number who have difficulty Airprinting with an HP 5510. Is there anyone out there who has succeeded? And if not what has HP to say about it?!!
