Airprint from iPhone 4 (iOS5) never prints on printer

I have a 6500A Plus printer.  My iPhone can see the printer and I can choose it, etc. 

I hit print and nothing ever makes it to the printer.  What is going on?

Double-tap the home button. If you see Print Center in the app dock then tap on that. Delete any print jobs that are sitting in Print Center. Then try to print again.

What model  router are you using?

Ok, I deleted the two jobs I had in there.  One was a 4x6 photo which was the reason I used Airprint, snapped it on my phone and just wanted a quick print.  The other job was a document I was testing with.  The photo job was just spinning.

I am using the newest Time Capsule/Airport Extreme.

I just tried it again and it worked.  I guess it was stuck.  Thanks!  I never knew there was a Print Center to check.

I figured out on my system why it would not print.  I am running a mac with version 10.7.2 and was running ios 4 which I upgraded to ios5 once i upgraged i could not print from my iphone or ipad.  After doing a lot of research.  I had figured out that print sharing had been unchecked on my computer.  Go to system preference - sharing then make sure the print sharing is enabled.  

Once I did this I was able to print from my officejet pro 8500A plus

(Re)checking Print Sharing was definitely the fix for me. It was driving me crazy trying to figure out what happened - I'm not even sure how it became unchecked!

Printing from the MacBook Pro was never an issue but I can now print again from my iPhone & Pad with no problem.  Many thanks for sharing!!!
