HI, I also encounter this problem.
Can we change the paper size from letter to A4 (in Window XP, Start->Printer and Fax, Right click HP ePrint Mobile -> Property, Available paper: Letter)?

Hi edwin465,
I don't believe ePrint Mobile gives you the option to change paper size. You can try contacting the Cloud Services for more support.

Hello wyzarde,
Most applications will let you chosse the paper size in which you would like to print on. Have you tried setting the paper size via the application?

Hi JPac,
It doesn't matter what paper size an application wants to use, if the printer driver does not support it then it's impossible to print on.
For example, if I have a dedicated phot printer that only supports 10x15 cm, there is no way an application attempting to print to this printer can use A4 or Letter or any other comparible size, Similarly you cannot go into Word, specifiy an A3 page and expect a printer that only handles A4 to be able to print it.
Since Letter is slightly shorter than A4 (11in verses 11.7in or 279.4mm verses 297mm) what happens is that the printer prints as much of the page as it can onthe first page, but the remaining 0.7in (17.6mm) gets pushed onto the top of the next page. By the time you've printed a 20 page document you're pretty stuffed.
According to my quick read on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_size only the USA and Canda use Letter paper as the offical, default paper size. The rest of the world uses A4.
I think it would be a great idea if the driver was updated to allow users the choice.
regards, Mark

Hello Mark,
Most, if not all, applications query the driver for its supported paper sizes. These paper sizes are then displayed to the user from within the application and are free to choose the one they want. The ePrint Mobile Driver itself does not allow a user to select a paper size but relies on the application to do that.
I believe the original question said that the device was configured to use A4... and so assuming the device supports A4... let's perform a test.
If you have the ePrint Mobile Driver installed, make sure it is the default (or you can select it in Notepad as the printer to print to). Open up Notepad. Click on the File menu item, and then click on "Page Setup".
There should be a "Size:" selection. If you click on the list of paper sizes you should see the list of sizes the ePrint Mobile Driver supports. You should see "A4" as one of the supported paper sizes.
Go ahead and select it and click ok. You should now be able to print a page worth of text to a printer using A4 size and not see any text get cut off or pushed to the next page.
This same approach can be used on almost any application. Make sure you select the printer you want to print to in the application so the application can query the driver for its supported paper sizes. Then you can select the size in which you want to create the document with.
Hope this helps

Hi JPac,
I've now tested this with MS Word by setting ePrint Mobile as the dfault printer, starting MS Word and creating a two page document (with the pages outlined to be sure of the location) and selected that most likely paper size choice (JabCapsA#RES#217 with a size of 21 x 29.7 - there are also JabCapsA#RES#209, JabCapsA#RES#21013 & JabCapsA#RES#20226).
The pages printed, but the second page started and finished almost 2cm lower on the page, which is congruent with the driver only passing through Letter size.
What do you suggest next?
regards, Mark
