This is a common issue from the postings you will have seen. This system seems to be very sensitive to say the least. I had these problems (received a B216b just over a week ago.
I assume that the printer shows as 'connected' and ready' at the top of the ePrintCentre page and a tick against the printer identifier tab.
I had the same issue as you - lots of pending prints and no action from the printer. I went as far as resetting the email for the printer. I had loaded a number of 'allowed' email addresses as well as recommended in the blurb.
I have now disabled all the allowed email addresses and as long as I do not reveal my printer email address to anyone unauthorised I should not get any rogue emails/prints.
I have also switched off and after a short period switched the printer on again.
Magically all my pending prints have spewed out today. This included prints sent from my desktop (connected via ethernet to the router), a wireless connected laptop and my palm pre.
I have yet to see whether this is a permanent cure. If it is I will be relatively happy since it is not quite out of the box as many of us have discovered.
Curiously enough the same resolution (switch on switch off) seems to apply to being able to activate the scanner from a PC/laptop.
So all in all - print quality excellent, most other facilities first class. Advanced features (the real reason for buying) - jury is still out !

I want to add my name to those geting "pending" status.
All my systems are working flawlessly...
...except for ePrint itself.
Please, HP, could you tell us what is going on?
Thanks,
C~

Mine are hanging up in "pending" status as well. But as soon as I refresh my network(basically re-run the wireless set-up wizard) the prints magically begin to pop out. I agree, the quality is excellent so far with my PS premium eAiO, but after about two weeks or so the ePrints stopped coming and ALWAYS get stuck in pending status.
Its not the end of the world to re-run the wireless set-up wizard on the printer, but its ANNOYING...
I WISH HP would fix this....its irritating...

I am having the same issue. Just checked eprint web site under my printer. Numerous documents pending. The printer connects to eprint web service however, when I try to print anything the red X immediately appears, then it says unable to retrive content from the web. ANY IDEAS

When in the ePrint Centre the printer needs to be showing as connected and ready with ticks next to these statements. This is in the upper left area of the screen. It seems very hit and miss and not stable. You may have to switch the printer off, wait a few minutes and switch on again. I have found this often works. No good if you are remote from the printer and wish to send a print across the internet - the whole object of this function.
Regards
Kris

I have the same issue as described. Outta the box 6500 Plus, setup went flawless, instability with connection of printer as indicated both at printer (display, web status/apps) and through ePrint web portal. I hope enough new users continue to post so we can get this solved by HP. Great idea, great function, crossing fingers for a fix soon. Thank You.

HP deployed a system update last week which was reported to improve robustness.
Did it resolve your issues w/ jobs getting stuck in pending state?
Speaking for myself, not my employer Hewlett Packard
