Emails still being rejected

I have inconsistent success sending print jobs to hpeprint.com.  Mail sent from certain accounts print fine, but when I send mail from my gmail account, I get a non-delivery notice with the following error:

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.7.1 Command rejected (state 18).

I've seen other users post similar problems.  Any ideas?

Re: Emails still being rejected

Hi chrisg0584,

Which mobile device and email client are you using?

ePrint works better with the supported and tested email clients.

Thank you.

Re: Emails still being rejected

I didn't see a resolution on this thread, and am having the same problem. I host the email for my domain with Google (Apps). I've tried sending an email from my PC using Outlook, to the email address I set up for the printer. I do have the restriction on authorized email addresses. I get the same message as the OP indicated. Help!?!

Re: Emails still being rejected

I'd first try removing the restriction on authorized email addresses and see if that fixes the problem.  If it does, you now know where to look.

Re: Emails still being rejected

Tried that... Also tried sending to the original email, since I had just changed it to something recognizable a short time before. Currently failing with the email authorization on or off. Here's the latest message:

Thanks for helping... :-)

Re: Emails still being rejected

Are you sending from gmail?  Gmail generally works.

Are you sending attachments?  There is a 5MB size limit per attachment.

Are you sending to multiple recipients?  ePrint email can only have one recipient listed in the "To" field.

Re: Emails still being rejected

I am sending from Outlook. My domain (crossno.us) is hosted by gmail, so Google is the delivery service for me to HP (thus the message coming from Google). There are no attachments, just the body of the email. The error message appears to indicate that the smtp server at the HP end is doing the rejecting, but I don't know what the process on that end is. Since I don't have a restriction on who may send to my printer, there shouldn't be a check for that getting int he way. Also, I have power-cycled the printer as well.

Thanks!

Re: Emails still being rejected

Update...

From your last message, Mike

I tried sending the same email from my email account via the browser, logged on at GMail. Failed.

Sent an email from an email address I have with gmail.com. That worked.

I sent an email from that same address, but from Outlook. That worked.

So, what doesn't seem to be working are email addresses that are not a gmail.com domain, but are hosted by GMail. Problem? Possibly because it's an email from a domain that's not gmail.com, but is being delivered by them?

Can you try Gmail directly?

Re: Emails still being rejected

See my last post. I did. That worked. It's the domain(s) hosted by gmail that are problematic.
