I just purchased the HP 7250 on 1/26 and I am having the same exact issue with the Apps not working. I am wirelessly connected and my Web Services are on. I have auto updates turned on as well. All other features of the printer are working fine including scan to email and efax. If this is a firmware update, it would be nice if HP would push the fix soon.

Thanks for the helpful posts, I have an HP 7520 with a serial number begining with TH. Sounds like the issue with apps updating then cancelling will be solved by a firmware upgrade in March 2014?

I really do appreciate this is frustrating. The team are working away on the issue and as soon as the fix is available online I'll add the link to this post. Unfortunately the issue was more complex than anticipated, and the team want to make sure the fix is right before they release it.

Thanks for your patience Rick. The apps are handy and I know it's a pain not to have them working. Crosswords & sudoko are great for keeping the old brain ticking over when you're having a coffee break!
