I have just bought an HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus Printer. I am using it on Wi-Fi and am able to print from my Laptop using the Wi-Fi Network.
I have an iPad with OS 5.1 and am uable to connect to the printer. I get a message "NO AIRPRINT PRINTERS FOUND". Have updated the Firmware of the Printer. Both the printer and the iPAD are on the same network. Printer IP is 192.168.1.3 & the iPad has the IP 192.168.1.12.
Kindly help.

Make sure bluetooth is disabled on the iPad when you try and AirPrint. Bluetooth will interfere with AirPrinting. Heres how you can make sure its turned off:
- Tap the Settings icon (
). - Tap the General icon, if it is not already selected.
- Tap the Bluetooth menu item. Make sure that the toggle shows Off .
Let me know if this fixes the issue!

Ok. Lets pick on the router. Do you know if it supports Bonjour? Can you provide me the brand and model number of your router?
Also try downloading the HP ePrint Home & Biz app . This is another alternative to AirPrint.
Let me know if this helps!

I have searched all over the internet and this seems to be a common problem. It is frustrating when you do all of the suggested "helps" and then still get the message 'no airprint printers found'.
same network - yes
router supports bonjour - yes
reset everything - yes
upgrade firmware - yes
try eprint - yes
Does anyone anywhere have a solution?
