Printer "Connected and Ready"... still 'pending' in ePrintCenter center for 36 hours

All my networks, printers and wireless systems are functioning perfectly. -it is only the ePrintCenter which is not working. -I think we would all be a bit more patient if you just said you were aware of a problem and were working on it, instead of letting us dangle. -PLEASE give us a bit of reassurance that something is being done, or else you could generate a lot of ill feeling... -Best Regards, C~

Re: Printer "Connected and Ready"... still 'pending' in ePrintCenter center for 36 hours

Hi,

Are you still having the same issue?

We were experiencing some server issue and have carried out some upgrading works that was completed just recently.

If you are still experiencing this issue, please power cycle the printer. The printer will re establish a connection with the server. We are still actively monitoring this issue.

Thank you for your feedbacks.

I am an HP employee

Re: Printer "Connected and Ready"... still 'pending' in ePrintCenter center for 36 hours

I have the same problem - Laser Printer and no ePrint feature although all the promotional material and paper insert in the box says that it is.  I have been on chat, phone and email and can find no one who can answer when for those of us who want the feature and bought for that very thing.  All I ask is the same as everyone else.  When will the feature be available?  At least it works printing with my iPad!

Re: Printer "Connected and Ready"... still 'pending' in ePrintCenter center for 36 hours

Same story for me too.

ePrintCenter says my C310 printer is 'Connected' and 'Ready' - but my pending jobs won't print.

I tried cancelling an earlier job and re-sending - but all that has done has left a job with status 'Canceling' in my print queue - and nothing printing.

Come on HP - this service needs fixing - otherwise we've been sold a pup...

Re: Printer "Connected and Ready"... still 'pending' in ePrintCenter center for 36 hours

Same here.  Have the 8500A, have cycled power as requested earlier in the chain and job is still pending.  Tried changing from wireless network connection to wired, no change. (I actually did that earlier in the week and it made a difference)

So HP, what next?  I don't think an e-mail address change is the issue.

I also tried restoring defaults and then went through the wireless setup again......still nothing, job still pending!

In fact, I just sent a job and got this for 1 (that's right, only ONE) e-mail print request:

Failed

Dec. 7, 2010, 2:35 p.m.

Pending

Dec. 7, 2010, 2:35 p.m.

Cancel

Failed

Dec. 7, 2010, 2:35 p.m.

Pending

Dec. 7, 2010, 2:35 p.m.

Cancel

Re: Printer "Connected and Ready"... still 'pending' in ePrintCenter center for 36 hours

Still no printing - now into my third day of no ePrint service.  Not good enough HP.

At least my printer status now says 'Not Connected' - which at least explains why my pending documents aren't being sent .

BUT - I've re-booted the printer, my printer can use print apps to connect to the internet and download weather maps and print them - so my printer is connected.- and of course it all works locally.

Why are no HP employees responding to this thread?  We know you have read the messages!

Re: Printer "Connected and Ready"... still 'pending' in ePrintCenter center for 36 hours

Connected printer now not connected. Print off same network worked last week. Print from remote location comes up 'Failed' after 'insufficient data'. Why buy these if they don't work? Time to hit up CNET and Amazon comment pages to warn other prospective buyers.
