My ISP doesn't use proxy servers. Can I still use Web Services on my HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus A910g?

my officejet does not want to update and join web services and my ISP has no proxy settings

Can you be a little more specific?
An update solved the problem. What did you update?
Printer, wireless router, PC, modem, etc...
I still cannot connect my 8500A to the Internet. It keeps asking me for a proky address and port.

In two seperate Installations I have continued to have the same problem. An earlier post about an update by another user, seems to be FALSE. (there was no Link provided & in two weeks I have not been able to find any information regarding this issue)
ISSUE:
HOW to SOLVE the ePRINT, PROXY requirement and enable the printers ePRINT capability
