Scan to google docs doesn wotk - HP6500A

So, any word on the status of a fix yet? Only got a couple more weeks left to decide if I want to return the unit...

This isn't very good HP. I just bought an officejeft 6500A with the intention of reducing my paperwork and directing more of my documents online. Now I find that I can't upload my scans to google docs. Is there a plan by HP to correct this situation?

For everybody who's waiting on the solution, I have implemented a workaround for myself until HP fixes it. I have resorted to letting the scanner scan to a 'Network Folder' (located on my NAS drive). 

I have created a script that can run on a Windows/Linux machine, that scans a set of Network Folders, and the moment any document is uploaded to them by the scanner, it uploads them to corresponding folder in Google Docs. Needless to say that this requires me to keep my machine up all the time, and defeats the purpose of the GoogleDoc integration that is built into the scanner, but this is what I am going to use for now, hoping that HP will get around to fixing the Google Docs issue soon

Recently tried it again, and it appears to be fixed now! Well done either HP or Google, whoever. But then only them.
