I have a hp photosmart 5510 All-in-one B111a When I installed my printer I chose one app to see how it works ....... I DON'T need or require this or any other app and I want to stop it asap.
I have tried to follow the instructions from the forum BUT what they are asking is not on my screen
Would it be too hard for HP to have a simple INSTALL/DELETE for their Apps? Ridiculous!
Can anyone explain simply how to be rid of it please
Thank you

Cancel the application from the task manager.
Open Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar, and then clicking Start Task Manager.
or Incase the program is already installed on your computer then uninstall the application from the Control Panel
Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
Select a program, and then click Uninstall. Some programs include the option to change or repair the program in addition to uninstalling it. but many simply offer the option to uninstall. To change a program, click Change or Repair. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Note
If the program that you want to uninstall is not listed, it might not have been written for this version of Windows. To uninstall the program, check the information that came with the program.

Hi,
Changing any software settings on either Windows or Mac OS will not affect any scheduled print apps.
The web apps are fully managed by the device front panel or the ePrint Center site only.
Please follow the steps below to disable the a schedule delivery app.
1. From the printers front panel go to the 'Apps' section and scroll through until you find the desired print app. Select the print app and then choose 'Pause' subscription. This will pause the subscription until a user selects it again and 'resumes' printing. If the print app is not visible on your printer it may have been removed and should be added via the ePrint Center or via the Get More icon on the printer front panel. please try adding the app via the Get More icon on the front panel, If a such does not available go to method 2.
2. Go to www.hpeprintcenter.com and login to your account, create an account if necessary. Go to the 'Apps' section and select the desired print app. Select 'setup' and then 'update settings', at the bottom of the settings page you will see in blue text 'Cancel Scheduled Delivery'.
Regards,
Shlomi

Hi shuszie, I don't mean to frustrate you further but the actions you describe taking may not cancel the subscription you inadvertently setup when you installed your printer. ePrintCenter is a web based service and as such does not get installed on your computer.
Here's what you need to do to stop receiving the scheduled delivery prints.
- Sign In to your ePrintCenter account (ePrintCenter Sign In)
- If you never set an account up you will need to do this by clicking the Create and account link on the sign in page
- When you're signed into your account you can scroll down to the section called "My Print Apps" for your printer. What you see here will reflect the apps that are visible when you click the Apps icon on your printer front panel display
- Any apps that have the word "Setup" under their icon and star rating are capable of delivering content to the printer automatically at a scheduled time so you can remove these by pointing your cursor at the app to be removed and click on the Remove X link that appears in the top right corner of the icon.
To confirm that the offending print app has been removed from your printer press the Apps icon on the printers front panel display and you should no longer be able to see the app that had been delivering content to your printer each Wednesday.
Hope this makes sense and let me know if it doesn't!

Thank you for your interest.
I sign in to ePrintcentre ...there is no "My print Apps!" or I would have gone there ... then there is no word "set up" .... or I would have gone there ..... This has been my problem .... I go into the ePrintcentre and there is nothing that refers to the one app that I have..... I can go into the 7 Day menu planner but is does not have a setup or pause and the timer to setup schudule desn't work...
I figured that it must be because I was not on Windows and had a different screen. Sorry but it has wasted a lot of my time Sue

Hi shuszie,
Did you try Shlomil's solution #1 (in his reply above) on the printer (NOT on your computer)?
That is the easiest solution and you haven't mentioned whether or not you tried it.
