You will miss a scheduled print if your computer is turned off or not connected to the Internet, or if you are logged out. When you see the “You have missed a print” message, you can click Print to print now, or Skip.
You can set your Universal Crossword Print Widget to automatically do the same thing every time you miss a print.
- Open the Universal Crossword Print Widget.
- Click the wrench icon (
) to open the Settings dialog.
- If you want missed items to print immediately when you log in, select Automatically. If you want to be asked before an item is printed, select When Prompted. If you always want to skip missed items, select Never.
- Click Save in the Settings dialog to save your changes.
Did this answer your question? If it did, why not click the Kudos! button to the left?
If it didn’t answer your question about a printing problem, click Reply to ask the community, or search the forum for other posts that might help.
Or, click here to go back to the Guide to Printing Universal Crossword Print Widget Scheduled Content.

Hi rickdplumr,
HP has been trying to get something worked out with the Universal Crossword people to get access to past crosswords. One of the leads in this effort is taking some time off right now, but last I heard, there hasn't been too much progress.
Sorry! ![]()

Hi ickimary,
We have had several requests for past puzzles, here is the official response to our efforts to get back issues of puzzles or solutions to past puzzles:
HP is not allowed to keep archives of the puzzles. Our contract with Universal U-Click states specifically that we are not to archive material or distribute back issues.
There is a site online that has previous puzzles you could work on online. I'm not sure if you can print them out though:

I got the Print Widget and tried to PRINT, as I've done for several months, but this time I get the message 'Could Not Connect To Content Server'.
Is the problem mine or HP's?

It appears to be working now. Must have been a temporary server problem?

Sounds like an issue with connecting to the HP cloud network. Like most networks, the HP cloud does go through periodic times when the servers are down for maintenance, upkeep, and updating. These can cause temporary outages in some of the connected apps as well as some of the services that HP provides.
If you are experiencing long term issues, there are a few things you can do to correct the problem
1. Reconnect the printer to the wireless network - simply re-running the wireless setup wizard fixes many connection issues
2. Assign your printer a static IP and Google DNS (at the bottom of the screen the configuration should read 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Here a video on how to set that -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llYNMNKJMX4
3. After that, if you are still experiencing the same issue I would perform a network reset, so that all the devices reconnect to the servers properly and to your netwok. First turn off your machine, then unplug your router, after ten seconds plug the router back in. Once the lights are all back to normal (flashing, steady or otherwise) power the machine back on and test the connection to the server again.
4. Lastly, if those steps have failed you can disable and re-enable web services. This will cause you to lose your personalized printer email address and you will have to remove your printer's original information from ePrintCenter and reconfigure the applications and services you desire. However if this is necessary, you can contact our free support at the number below (for US customers)
