Re: apps on HP 7525

So basically you took a chance with possibly receiving another Thailand printer? That is my concern- having to go through all of this just to get another TH printer with the same problem.. That is if in fact it is as simple as all the Thailand printers are the only ones with this problem.

Thank you for responding so quickly. And posting the case manager #. I will be calling that number tomorrow requesting the same.

Re: apps on HP 7525

Still thinking if I want to return.  If I decide on a return, I will just return it to Sam's Club and get another printer; either a Canon or an Epson.  i am beginning to be concerned about future issues with this HP printer.  There might be other goblins in the unit that have yet to come out.

I really do not need the aggravation.

Re: apps on HP 7525

Just returned my Thailand printer and exchanged it for one from China...and printer apps work now!  It is the same Firmware version as my former Thailand printer: ELM1CN1320AR.

Re: apps on HP 7525

Glad to see that you got a working printer by exchanging it for one made in China!  Isn't that just the craziest thing?

Re: apps on HP 7525

To anyone who got a replacement from China... Is it a new unit or a refurb?

Thanks in advance

As the case manager explained to me it is a new unit that has been tested before being sent out to you and they are labeled certified refurbished. Carries the full warranty of your current printer.

Re: apps on HP 7525

Update with my situation: I contacted a case manager lastnight & mentioned to her about the issue & this forum actually. She didn't give me any trouble & offered me a replacement of the same model or a different model completely. She requested me to send her this forum & I did. She called me back at the time she said she would today & she said I was correct & actually there was another person that she knows about who called in about the same problem. She shared this forum with another case manager.
- I told her I will be making a trip to Sam's Club tomorrow to see if I could 1) find 1 with the serial # CN & 2) exchange the 1 I have for another. If I can't I will be receiving a replacement.

Overall, yes this is frustrating & a pain but with HP having great customer service makes everything less stressful. I suggest to you to get in contact with their case mgmt team.
