Re: apps on HP 7525

I took mine back to Costco and exchanged it for a brand new one. Figured that would be easier than going through HP.

Re: apps on HP 7525

Recent update for me: I returned mine at Sam's and got one that had a "CN serial number and EVERYTHING is working perfectly now! Another difference was when I was going through the process of setting it up, it updated the Web Services twice along with two other updates. So, I'm convinced there IS something wrong with the Thailand printers!

{Personal Information Removed} My original printer I got as an early Christmas gift from my parents which they got in Memphis around Thanksgiving. We were able to do an easy exchange and without the physical receipt on us! They looked it up. & I did explain to them the truth about why we were returning it. They were kind've taken back & surprised but I guess then they realized I was serious lol

Re: apps on HP 7525

I went to Costco tonight and they had one 7525 remaining. The box was damaged but it said it said "Product of China", so I gave it a shot. Took it home and the printer looked ok, and after going through all the setup, the apps are working fine. Now I just have to pack up and return the original Thailand printer.

Re: apps on HP 7525

I went to a local Sam's today and all they had were Thailand models.  I'm guessing the China ones are older builds.  Glad to hear you got one.

Re: apps on HP 7525

jcbehm - I think you are right, that the China models are older.  On my Thailand printer, it had Airprint as will as Eprint stamped on it. My China printer only has Eprint (and not Airprint) stamped on it.  I was a little concerned at first, but Airprint works fine. Yunghwa, funny that you took a damaged box. My Costco had about 20 printers, and only two of them were China, and both of the boxes were damaged. I took a chance, too, and got one with a damaged box. People were looking at me like I was crazy, as I was digging through all the printers and took one with a damaged box.

Re: apps on HP 7525

Thanks all.  Just bought my TH made 7525 at Sam's on Dec 13.  Same problem with the apps.  I will try a local exchange for a CH unit.
