eFax and HP 6600

hi - is it possible to use efax with a hp 6600 all-in-one printer?

lmoski, Hope you are doing well and welcome to the forum;

As far a I know and can find the answer is no. in the other eFax®  is a online service that you can use in any printer it will not be accesable thru your HP 6600 printer screen or interface, but will have to use it online and print to your printer in a PDF or other format. If I remember correctly please verify on their site.

Yeah. I found it's not supported on my 8600 either. I found a good solution, though. FaxLogic (http://www.faxlogic.com) has a nifty little device that connects the analog fax port on the HP to my LAN (and out to the Internet, of course). It's kind of like MagicJack for fax. The device costs $50 and the monthly service ranges from $10 to $30, depending on how much faxing you do and what other features you want. The plan I have costs $15 a month and lets me send and receive faxes from my 8600, as well as through the web and email. Anyway, it works great for my purposes. Check it out.
