ePrint 3070A

Hi,

My HP 3070A works fine with my laptop and mobile devices. Only my ePrint does not work. When I try to get a printer code by printing a page it shows an error(printer is not connected to the wifi).

I am registered on eprintcenter.com but because of the problem above i can not add a printer.

Regards,

Blagoj

Re: ePrint 3070A

Hello Blagoj,

I would try the following step to see if this will re-establish a connection to the ePrint Servers:

While the printer is still on, unplug the power cord from the printer, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Once plugged back in the printer should power on automatically.

If you still experience the same error message try these steps as well:

First, unplug the printers power cord while it is still on. Leave it unplugged and walk to the router. While the router is still on, unplug the power cord from the router, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the router. Once plugged back in the router should power on automatically. Now go back to the printer and plug its power cord back in. Once plugged back in the printer should power on automatically.

Feel free to reply to this post with any further questions and I will try and find an answer for you.

If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!

Re: ePrint 3070A

Hi,

I did try both steps but it did not work.

Just to be clear, the wifi is working properly, light on printer burns blue, i can print with laptop and iphones cause it recognizes the printer.
The eprint light does not switch on. When I press it, it shows that it needs update(Accept terms etc) After I press it, it appears a message that I should check my internet connection(Printer could not connect to the internet etc. Also on the web 192.168.... everything works fine except eprint that can not get connected.

Thanks for the trouble! :smileywink:

Re: ePrint 3070A

If you have already performed the steps I mentioned above and are still having issues then there may be some steps you can try to get this working for you.

1. Find out the IP address of the printer by pressing the wireless icon from the front panel of the printer.

2. Open a browser on your computer that is connected to the same network as the printer. Type the IP address of the printer into the browser's address bar. (i.e. http://192.168.1.5)

3. Once you are in the webpage with the printers settings, click on the 'Network' tab.

4. On the left side of the page click on the Network Address (IP) underneath the Networking heading.

5. Click on the radio button next to Manual IP and then click the 'Suggest a Manual IP Address' button to have the system assign you a Manual IP address.

6. In the Manual DNS Server boxes type the following:

Manual Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8

Manual Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

7. Press the Apply button to save these changes

Once you have saved the Manual IP settings you should power cycle the printer by unplugging the power cord from the printer, leaving it unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnecting the power cord to the printer. Once plugged back in the printer should power on automatically.

Once the printer has powered back on try enabling Web Services again and see if it will allow you to connect.

Please let me know if this helps with your issue so I can help you further if needed.

Re: ePrint 6510 B211a

I was having a similar problem ie i could connect to the wifi but not eprint. I followed the same instructions ie first trying to reboot both router and printer and the trying the manual IP route. But neither seems to do the trick. Is it a function of what manul dns server input i make? Or is the solution for the 6510 different? Ay help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

[ Edited ]

I have the exact same problem with 6510 B211a.

When trying to connect to Web Services it returns a Connection Error -

please upgrade product. What to do?

(no need to say that I can scan to PC wirelessly, so connection is OK).

Re: ePrint 3070A

Hello,

I am trying to connet my computer to my printer by using usb cable, but i cant do it, ii says my eprint is not conneted  to the network. Therefor i cant use the eprint. I also cant find the IP address from my printer front panal. No address can be fund from there. I think if it is not connected to the network, it wont show any address or code on the front panal. I have a wireless router at home my computer and my iphone work fine with it.

So could you tell me how can i get the eprinter code or IP address?

Kind regards

Rui
