I'm trying to register with efax with my new hpEnvy 114. It won't connect and keeps turning off eprint services each time I try to register. Help!

Hello Judikitti,
Here are a few steps to get you started in troublshooting this issue:
1. While the printer is still on, unplug the power cord from the printer, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Once plugged back in the printer should power on automatically.
2. After the printer has powered on, restore your network defaults by going to Setup > Network > Restore Network Defaults > Yes.
3. Now go back to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the onscreen instructions to connect your printer back to the wireless network.
4. Check for product updates by going to Setup > Web Menu > Product Updates > Check for Product Updates. Keep checking for Product Updates until you are given a message that says "No product updates available" as there may be more than one update available.
Now you can try to access the eFax option on the front of the printer and see if it allows you to register for eFax. If you are still having issues then Restore the Factory defaults on the printer by going to Setup > Tools > Restore Factory Defaults > Yes, Restore Factory Defaults. Now try to access eFax again.
If you have any questions or issues feel free to reply to this post and I will try to help you further.

FWIW, I gave up on this with my HP 8600 (it turned out to not be supported, but even if I could have used it, the 20 pages/month that come with the service are not sufficient). Instead, I now use a service from FaxLogic (http://www.faxlogic.com) that lets me connect my HP's fax jack to the Internet via a small adapter device (supplied by FaxLogic); now, faxing from the HP works as it would with an analog line, and I have web-fax, fax-to-email, and email-to-fax functions from my PC. I've had no problems and it costs much less than a phone line.

Hello Judikitti,
Is there a specific error message you are receiving when trying to register for eFax? You may need to go to your Web Services menu (icon with piece of paper with circles behind it) and make sure ePrint is "On" and Web Services is "On".

I kept powering off, restarting and trying again and finally it took the registration. It had been telling me to check my internet connection because it couldn't connect. But everything was fine. It seemed to be disabling eprint whenever I selected enable during the registration process. Then when I tried to send the registraion info a red x would appear on the front of the printer panel and it said to check my connection. When I would go back into my settings the eprint would be off every time. But it would always be ON before I tried to set up the efax registration.
I don't know why it finally worked.
