One cannot use eFax on any Officejet products at this time. As of today the printers that offer the free eFax accounts are The HP Photosmart eStation AIO–C510a, The HP ENVY 110 e-AIO printer D411a, 411b and ENVY 111 e-AIO D411d, and the HP ENVY 114 e-AIO Printer - D411c, and The HP Photosmart 7510/7515 e-All-in-one printer C311a. The Free account offers you the ability to fax 20 free fax pages in and 20 free fax pages out every 30 days. The Officejet 8600 would have a port on the back of the printer for a phone cord to be inserted for analog faxing to occur. Please note that eFax does offer paid account if one needs more faxes per month.
