iPad2 prints blank photo sheet on HP Photosmart 7510 AIO

Newly installed HP 7510.  Can print photos rom iPhone 4S just fine on 4x6 paper from photo tray.  Can print same from MacBook Pro.  When I try to print same photo from iPad2, the printer goes through the motions but simply ejects one blank sheet from the photo tray.  I can print emails and other plain paper print jobs from the iPad to the 7510 just fine.

Any ideas?

Hey Velcrodad. Lets try rebooting the iPad2 and the router. You can reboot the router by just unplugging it for roughly 10-15 seconds and then plugging it back it. Also completely shutdown the iPad2 and then try printing again. 

Let me if this fixes it.

Sadly Sean, rebooting the router and iPad2 did not solve the problem. One other interesting tidbit is that my wife's 1st gen iPad prints fine to the 7510. She is on IOS 5.01 while my iPad2 is on the newer IOS 5.1. My iPhone 4S, which prints to the 7510 fine, is on IOS 5.1 like my iPad2. I am using a Mac Airport router and the 7510 is only hooked up wirelessly. What's next? Thanks for the help.

Make sure bluetooth is disabled on the iPad when you try and AirPrint. Bluetooth will interfere with AirPrinting.

Thanks again for the suggestion but again, unfortunately turning off Bluetooth on the iPad2 did not fix the problem. I rebooted the iPad after I turned off Bluetooth. FWIW, I am able to correctly print to the 7510 from my iPhone when the phone has Bluetooth ON. Very strange.

Well thats good to hear. I would recommend keeping bluetooth off, just because its very common that it interferes with AirPrint. If it works for you then you must just be lucky

Keep it in the back of your head that way if it happens again.
