not enough memory

I have been try to print photos with iPrint Photo to my Photosmart  D110. For all but the smallest photos I either get the message "Not Enough Memory to Complete Operation" or the print starts, the progress bar gets about half way across and then either stops or gives the message "There is a problem with the printer"

Is therea fix for  this?

I am having the same problem, attempting to print a photo over my home wireless network using the IPrint app on my iPhone 3gS to the HP Deskjet F4500 series printer. All are properly connected over the network. Any solution to this problem?

Im having the same problem trying to print from my Iphone 4  to the printer.

if i unistall the app, then reinstall it I can get get 1 photo to print then it goes back to the not enough memory message

(My printer is the Officejet 8500A premium, 2 trays.  I am printing from an iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.3.1)

iPrint:

When I left the print size at the default 4x6 in, HP iPrint sent the photo to the printer OK.  I was interested to see that it did not spool the photo to the printer.  I could tell because the iPhone and the printer were interacting back and forth like bits were going and coming synchronously.  It printed a 4x6 image, very low quality, on paper from Tray 1.  I think the "out of memory" messages probably happen due to using a synchronous protocol on a fast wireless link.  Make the file small being transferred small enough and I bet the message doesn't show up.

AirPrint:

I think that many things are wrong with this situation.  The most glaring I would say is that the HP app isn't using the network facilities built into the printer.  Compare this with using Apple's AirPrint app.  Printing the same image using AirPrint spooled the file to the printer -- swoosh.  It was printed full sheet size on the paper in Tray 1, which meant either it was being printed actual size or that the app had scaled it up to fit the paper in the tray.  I don't know.  I couldn't find meaningful ways to change the printing options via either app.

Tray 2:

In particular, I am very disappointed that HP iPrint, the HP driver in MacOS X, and AirPrint all ignore the existence of Tray 2 and all of its settings.  There is no point to owning the OfficeJet with a second tray because you can use it only in a very very limited circumstance.  It can take *only* letter size Plain paper.  It won't even let you specify Inkjet paper when you want it to use Tray 2.  Humorous.  So you can only use Tray 2 if (a) you are the only computer sending things to that printer -- so that you know what is in Tray 1 and when you are going to use it. (b) you are printing from applications that let you control the driver options.  AirPrint doesn't.  HP's ePrint (not to be confused with HP's iPrint!!) doesn't either.  So you could have plain paper in Tray 2 and your best photo paper in Tray 1 when some idiot -- maybe yourself -- decides to send an email with a PDF attachment to your printer.  Bingo.  A nice crisp pdf on photo paper.  

Something is screwy with the 8500A and its tray management.  Sometimes the tray option is "Automatic" vs "Main" or sometimes it is called "Default".  Who knows what those mean -- not documented.  Whatever.  As far as I can tell, you can't set it up as they claim in the marketing literature. Or maybe there are undocumented control options that somebody somewhere will whip the covers off some day as an "improvement".  

Don't waste the cash on the second tray folks.
