printing from email

I'm trying to print a picture from my email onto regular letter size paper, but it will only try to print the photo onto 4x6 photo paper.

Re: printing from email

Hi There,

Try removing the 4x6 photo paper. The printer should then print to the  letter paper that you have loaded.

Re: printing from email

I did that and it says that the tray is empty and I should put more 4X6's in.

Re: printing from email

Are you printing from a mobile device or windows laptop/PC?

If you're printing using windows then you should select the main tray for the paper source rather than "automatically select". You'll also neeed to designate letter as the paper size. Plase see the example below:

Re: printing from email

Yes, that is set to main tray. I also have it set to main tray directly onto my printer settings.

[ Edited ]

You will also need to select everyday printing below. If you have photo printing selected, the printer will call for photo paper. Try selecting paper trype as plain pape, if you've not alrady done so.

Re: printing from email

I don't get an option to choose how to print it when I print from email.

Re: printing from email

Sorry for the additional questions - what operating system and e-mail are you using?

If you are able to sleect print file when viewing your e-mail then the following screen should have a print preferences option where you can toggle the options above.
