Re: sign in to the HP ePrint Center

Hey JCW1159,

It looks like you have not created an account yet.

1. You need to click the sign in button.

2. Now it will ask you for your email address and password but do not put it in.

3. On that window, you need to click SIGN UP at the top.

4. Now you can enter all the information in.

Here are the instructions for completing ePrint.

HP ePrint Setup Steps

1. Enable Web (Cloud) Services on your ePrint enabled HP printer.

a. For assistance navigate to www.hp.com/support and enter your printer’s model number.

2. When the printer connects to the ePrint servers, shortly after, a HP ePrint Mobile Printing page will

print.

a. A Product Update may be needed in order to continue to enable Web Services.

3. Bring the ePrint page mentioned in step 2 to a Web connected computer.

4. Open an Internet Browser on the Internet connected computer.

5. Navigate to www.eprintcenter.com in the Internet Browser.

6. Select the Blue button that reads “Sign In” on the Home Page at ePrintcenter.com.

7. After selecting “Sign In” a window will open. Select “Sign Up” in Blue letters at the top of the window.

8. After selecting “Sign Up” a window will open allowing you to enter information to create an account.

9. When your account has been created successfully, the account owner will be prompted to “Add

Printer”.

10. On the ePrint Page, from step 2, you will find a Printer Code just right of the Blue number 2. Use this

Printer Code to “Add Printer”.

11. Once the Printer has been added successfully you will be given the option to setup.

12. In the Setup options you have the option to enter a Custom email address.

a. Erase the original Printer code from the custom email address field and enter the customized

email address of your choice.

b. You will not have to enter the domain, @hpeprint.com.

c. Example: yourcustomizedemail@hpeprint.com

d. Click “Check” to confirm that the custom email address is available for use.

13. In the Setup options you can select a security type: Allow Everyone or Authorized users only.

a. Note: No ePrint jobs will print on your printer unless you give the customized email address to

someone. Allowing everyone simply allows whomever you give the printer email address to

send ePrint jobs to your printer.

14. At the top of your home page confirm that your printer name is displayed and there are green check

marks beside “Connected” & “Ready”.

15. Congratulations you have done an Outstanding Job! Now you should be able to send ePrint jobs to

your printer!

Re: sign in to the HP ePrint Center

My problem is I cannot get past the sign up page.  I enter al the information, UN, PW, answer the usage question and accept terms and hit sign up and it freezes and the page never changes until I close it.

It does not say bad PW or anything.  I am trying to find a support number to call.

Once I get signed up, I will then use your information provided.

Re: sign in to the HP ePrint Center

Hey JCW1159,

You will need to check and see if there is a red X over any of the fields and change that field. You can call 1(800) HPinvent and one of our HP agents can help you with the sign up process.

Re: sign in to the HP ePrint Center

Thank you for the phone number.  As it turned out, I could not sign up using Internet Explorer.  When I switched to Google Chrome, it let me sign up and everything went well from there.   One suggestion, it was very difficult to find a support number to call that would put me to the Clound Support.

Re: sign in to the HP ePrint Center

I have tried this with Chrome, IE, and Safari. This is not a browser issue. Can anyone explain why I cannot signup? The 'Create Account' button does not do anyhting. No red 'x's. Not exactly the best first experience with a new HP product.

Re: sign in to the HP ePrint Center

I've been trying to sign in since yesterday the 13th and still can't get the submit button to work.  I can fill in all my information, go to submit and when I try to click it, it will not click the submit button. It doesn't give an error message, nothing shows that it needs to be corrected, it simply just will not let me click submit.  I've tried internet explorer, google chrome, mozilla, you name it and it doesn't matter.  HP needs to get this figured out asap or they can expect a printer back in the mail, that is why I got a new printer is for the wireless and eprint features, if I can't get it signed up then I'm switching to a different company that can figure it out.

Re: sign in to the HP ePrint Center

Yep, same problem. Create account button won't work in Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.

Bought this today for the ePrint function. May be going back tomorrow if I can't get it to work...

Re: sign in to the HP ePrint Center

I too am having the same problem creating an account. I agree that this isn't a good first time user experience. The set up of the printer was fine and done in 20 mins but trying to create an account to use e-print is somewhat of a nightmare!

I purchased this printer yesterday and tried for quite a while last night and again today to set up e-print but I'm not making any progress.

Can someone from HP confirm if the site is down or explain why we're having problems and what we need to do to get an account up and running please??
