web services (eprint and Apps) could not be enabled

just opened my new HP officejet pro 8600 and trying to enable web service and I received the following error: web services (eprint and Apps) could not be enabled.  I have no idea how to debug this issue.

Any help out there?

Re: web services (eprint and Apps) could not be enabled

To print 4 emails stuck in queue was advised to disable then reenable 'web services'.  Cannot

find enable/disable web services window on the printer. The printer does have 'remove web services'...

are disable/reenable web services same as 'remove' web services?

Re: web services (eprint and Apps) could not be enabled

They are the same, however be advised that anything that is pending in the queue will be gone, as well as your current custom email address. You will have to readd the printer with a new info page, and use a different custom email address.

Re: web services (eprint and Apps) could not be enabled

Jon -

Is there any other way to have the emails stuck in queue  released without incurring further problems?. I

don't relish losing my current email address with your instruction.

Solution unsatisfactory......don't mind losing emails in queue but I don't relish also losing my email Address. Is there any " work-a-round" ?

Re: web services (eprint and Apps) could not be enabled

Jobs should be cancelled automatically if they have been stuck in pending for 24 hours, or if it has been less than 24 hours there should be a cancel option beside the job in the queue.
