Hi,

You only need to use your normal browser. Anyway, please try this:

Re: how to download java software into my hp touchpad?

I tired to do this and I went to open and I got a message that said can't can't open MIME file. What the heck is that? I am not a developer or anything  techie, just a computer user. HELP!

Thanks!

Re: how to download java software into my hp touchpad?

The download links in the beginning of this thread are wrong.  Java is not supported in webOS!

Smkranz offered a link that explained this fact, which came directly from the Palm support site.

To answer your question Spunkybear, when you get the MIME error, you have downloaded a file that webOS has no idea what to do with, or how to open it.

It's probably a windows executable file.
