touchpad wont shutoff

I hold the button and the tablet wont shut off if I go into device manager i have to shut off there.

Mine too has just frozen on and I cannot shut it off. Installed and launched Picassa Viewer now just sitting there not responding. Bring back Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Same here, installed Flivr, launched it and have the toolbar at the top and nothing else. Will not respond, will not shut down. Don't tell me I have to wait for my full battery to drain????

How the hell do I turn this thing off? long press of both buttons not working, combination presses not working.

Press and hold top button. While holding, press and hold front button. Don't let go, it takes 15 seconds, your unit will shut off. Let it shutdown and restart - another 15-25seconds.
