WAP is security protocol for Wi-Fi; I am not sure what you are asking. Are you are asking about sending data over Wi-Fi? Wi-Fi would be used to connect to the internet, send and receive email, etc. You would have to add an application to track Wi-Fi data usage on the Pre.

Terrabyte was close, but I think he was thinking of the Wifi encryption standard called either "WEP" or "WPA".
But he is correct in asking about what exactly do you mean? Data sent over your cellular network? Wifi? What happens when the device does a backup? Synergy?
