Hi,

 

I have a Voyager Focus 2 and I love it! My problem recently arrived when I transitioned to a new computer and the "Extended Range Mode" is not longer available on Poly Lens or Plantronic Hub.

 

Any idea how to get this option to display? I have the most up to date software as well. 

 

Something seems up with my range. Even without extended range mode, I should be able to get atleast 6-8 away without and problem but even then it my audio breaks. Not sure whats going on or theres some issue with the product/usb.

Please check the range provided below for the Poly Voyager Focus 2 headset. 


• Range: Voyager Focus 2 UC: up to 50 m/164 ft


Also, could you please try a few troubleshooting steps provided below and let me know if they resolve the issue?

1. Could you please try a headset with a different mobile phone or a PC?
2. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made.
3. Could you please try connecting the BT700 to a different PC?
4. Could you please set the headset as the default in the sound settings of the PC?
5. Could you please check for firmware updates and update them in the Poly Lens application?
