HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i (3Y3Q8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Upon unboxing and registering my new HP Envy, the HP website says that the system is out of warranty.  I sent in a Disputed Warranty Expiration request with my Proof of Purchase attached, and the Case was immediately closed.  Why is my new system saying it's Out of Warranty on arrival?  Why can't my Proof of Purchase show that the system is still under warranty and the HP.com site updated to show my In-Warranty Status?

Hi @Camonra,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds really frustrating to deal with warranty issues right after unboxing a new device like your HP Envy. This kind of situation should be straightforward, and it's understandable that you’d be upset about the system showing it's out of warranty and your case being closed quickly without a clear resolution.

Please check this document and follow the steps to raise the warranty dispute:

Also please refer to the below link to check the warranty status.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
