Hi everyone
my Samsung ProXpress SL-M4580FX printer does not start and gives an error message "loading 0%". Is it possible that it is the hdd? Can I do a reset? How you do it?
Thank you
Massimo

It is most likely a failed harddrive. Based on the age of the device, this type of failure is common. You will need to replace the drive and then use the recovery process to get the operating system back on. Drive must be a spinning platter drive, SSD drives are not supported. I will send you a private message with links for the required files to perform a recovery and instructions.

I hoped I had solved it but after two days the printer gives the same error even with a new disk. I'm afraid the problem depends either on the SATA cables or on the printer's motherboard. Do you have some advice?
Thank you

After you completed the recovery did you update the firmware? Another user had issues until they did that. Could be a cable issue and most likely the use a standard SATA cable so easy thing to try. Was it a new hard drive you installed or used? Printers can very intolerant of the most minor glitches on hard drives.

Thanks as always for the help. I installed the new firmware and the printer is now stable. Tomorrow I'll replace the sata cable.
I update you.
Thank you
