3D scanning of plants

Product Name: HP 3D Scan

Hi. Does anyone have any experience with 3D scanning of plant material, either whole plants (say up to a couple of feet high) or of detached leaves or flowers? I'd like to know what quality of scans I might get before investing in a scanner.

Have a look at Christian Mendez post on the old David forum:

Christian Mendez´s Scan Gallery

That's why the old forum is so precious.
