How are camera and projector intrisics and extrinsics defined?

Product Name: HP 3D scan 5

When I save the setup of a 3D structured scanner, the xml file (*.hp3dscansetup) contains data about the camera and projector.

I am used to the camera intrinsics f_cam, cx, cy and distortion coefficients k1 (k2,p1,p2(,k3(,k4,k5,k6))

and projector intrinsics  f_proj, cx, cy and distortion coefficients k1 (k2,p1,p2(,k3(,k4,k5,k6))

and extrinsics R [matrix] and t [vector].

Now some parameters in the xml file are the same. I.e. for the camera. But there is an sx parameter.

Is this a scaling parameter?

The projector parameters i.e. the focus seems about 1000x too small.

The extrinsic parameters are not in the file, I believe.

Can you explain how get the correct numbers from the setup xml file?
