Product: HP envy 4520
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Need to send photos to a family member and don't want to mess it up and waste his time.  Have not done this in years and things change so need a complete and patient answer pls.

Scanning issues…

Please try this scan solution:
 
HP Scan Extended

For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Make searchable PDF scans with this free scanning software -   https://www.naps2.com/

 

When done scanning, save all the files and email them out.
