Re: I cant download the scan app to my computer.

Hi! @SN10, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand you have issues downloading the scan app to your PC.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

What is the application you are trying to download?

Have you tried scanning from a different application?

Please try few steps recommended below.

Try uninstalling the printer software from root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software and check if it helps.
Install the full feature printer software using this link.
Try few steps recommended below to scan to PDF as one file.
Double click printer icon on desktop,
Select Scan a Document or Photo,
Put the first page on the glass (face down),
Check options (size, dpi ...), and select Scan document to file,
Click Scan - machine will scan the first page
Remove the first page on the glass, put the second page,
Click + (plus sign) It sits on the left-hand side of a red x
Machine will scan the second page, put 3rd page on the glass and click + again ..... to the end  then click Save
 Click Done after Save.

Also, you can use download HP scan and capture app on your PC and check if it helps.
