Hello, how do I scan from best objects that mirror (Shiny) something?

I tried a bronze statue with chalk spray. The scan worked but unfortunately the patina of the bronze statue was completely destroyed by the chalk. And things are going badly.

A different object is made of lacquered wood the mirror also quite quite.

Did I mention a tip on how to scan mirror (Shiny) objects ?

Greeting Björn

I scan with two cameras and mostly me turntable and HP 3D scan software – Professional v5

3D scan spray such as the Helling 3D scan spray

or some others

They are sublimiating sprays that will dissappear on their own from the object after a time.  Very expensive.

Yoy can also use white developing spray.  But that has to be removed with another spray that is probably not good for every surface.

There's a few.
