Scans alignment with DAVID 3D scanner pro v4.5.3

Product Name: DAVID 3D scanner Pro V4.5.3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I tried scanning an object using the DAVID 3D scanner Pro V4.5.3, but never got to have a good alignment of the different scans. Even though I have followed all the procedures indicated in the user's manual. What shall I do?

What scanner are you using? Check projector settings, that the resolution is native and "enchantsments" like Keystone are off.

I am using DAVID SLS-2 with  a CAMERA: DAVID-CAM-3.1-M, and all the projector settings are as stated in the user manual.

but even I can not have good results.

PS: the object I want to scan has some sections that are very thin, is there a special way to scan this kind of shape?

You need to have overlap between two scans if you want to align them. I recommend to have 20 - 30% overlap. It is more important that overlaping area is rich with geometry than big in size.

I'm using the turntable, isn't it supposed to give the right level of overlap between scans automatically? !!!

if not, is it possible to settle it well and how?

Turntable cannot give you right amount of overlap, it is very dependent on geometry of your object. With time you will be able to estimate how many scans you need. More scans = more overlap ( which is not always the best solution).
