It´s just started to happend or you have this problem from the very beginning? Are you using same computer for both scans? Same graphic card?

Re: The new light pattern creates fine lines in the scan?

Hello, the setting, the place and the computer are exactly the same, the only thing that is different is the camera (the HD instead of the SD) and the program (HP 3D scan pro 5.2 instead of David 4 pro).

and yes, it does it from the beginning, this is why I suspected that the new pattern is the reason...

Re: The new light pattern creates fine lines in the scan?

You can try SLS-3 setup (HD Cam) with software version 4 to see if the new cam is causing any problems. If that seems to be OK then only what´s left is software version 5. Then we can dig under the hood to see what the problem could be.

Ok thanks I will do a couple of experiments. I had no time to experiment during data collection, giving the limited time available for working with ancient bones Smiley Very Happy
