Hi @francisco_2001,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop (24h2) isn't being recognized on HP's website, preventing you from downloading drivers. If your system is stuck at 24Hz refresh rate, that could be a separate display-related issue. Try these steps to resolve both problems.

Fix HP Website Not Recognizing Your PC

Check Your Model Name & Serial Number:

  • Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and hit Enter.
  • Look for System Model and Serial Number—use these on the HP website.
  • Alternatively, find them on the sticker inside or on the back of the case.

Manually Select Your Model:

  • Go to HP Support
  • Search for OMEN 25L Desktop GT (since 24h2 might not be the listed version).
  • Try GT12, GT13, or another variation closest to yours.

Use HP Support Assistant:

  • Download HP Support Assistant from here.
  • It should auto-detect your system and help with driver updates.

Fix Refresh Rate Stuck at 24Hz

If your monitor is only running at 24Hz, it might be a setting issue:

Check Display Settings

  • Right-click desktop → Display settings
  • Scroll to Advanced display settings
  • Look for Refresh Rate (Hz) and switch to 60Hz, 120Hz, or 144Hz (depending on your monitor).

Check Graphics Drivers

  • Open Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager).
  • Expand Display adapters → Right-click GPU → Update driver
  • Select Search automatically for drivers.

Try a Different Cable/Port

  • If using HDMI, switch to DisplayPort (HDMI may limit refresh rates).
  • Check if your monitor supports higher refresh rates.

Install GPU Drivers from NVIDIA/AMD

  • If you have an NVIDIA card, go to NVIDIA Drivers.
  • If you have an AMD card, go to AMD Drivers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
