HP Pavilion - 15-cs3027od
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

laptop - HP Pavilion -15-cs-3027od has recently had battery issues. It started with not being able perform a calibration to no battery detected to battery failure and, finally, no battery showing at all. I've followed all the HP support advice, The virtual agent was no help at all. It appears that I need to replace the battery. The laptop is out of warranty. So, my question is, "Do I want to buy a new battery? Or, should I buy a new laptop?" New battery and installation prices may be comparable to a new purchase. Any suggestions or recommendations from someone within the community are appreciated.

I would personally recommend you to change the battery on the laptop if there are no other issue with the laptop.
