We have a fleet of HP devices and I am trying to figure out if HP Image Assistant is the best app to keep all of our devices up to date with drivers. We use PDQ connect, and we are having a difficult time getting the .exe to deploy and work. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Which HP device models are included in your fleet?
  • When you attempt to push the HPIA .exe through PDQ Connect, do you see any error messages or does it simply fail silently?

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps and suggestions:

  1. Switch to HPIA Command-Line Mode
    • Instead of deploying the .exe interactively, try running HPIA in command-line mode with parameters (e.g., /Operation:Analyze /Category:Drivers).
    • This often works better with deployment tools like PDQ.

I hope this helps.
