Bitlocker wants recovery key.  I never activated Bitlocker so I don't have a key

See this link for possible ways to retrieve the BitLocker key:

 

Find your BitLocker recovery key - Microsoft Support

 

If you can't get the key, you will have to reinstall Windows and during the setup you will have to run the Diskpart utility and clean the disk so you can continue to install Windows on the encrypted drive.

 

If you cannot obtain the BitLocker recovery key, all data on the drive is encrypted and forever unrecoverable.
