HP OmniBook 7 Aero 13.3 inch Laptop Next Gen AI PC 13-bg1000 (AQ6W8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello. Im currently using a logi m3502 mouse with a omnibook 7 aero.
My mouse works well with the lg gram, the laptop that I used before omnibook.

Mouse does work properly with other laptops too.

However, the mouse lags horribly in omnibook.

The battery of mouse is full, each software of laptop and mouse is the latest.

Let me know the way to fix the problem.

Thank you.

Hi @Yunhang,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your Logitech M3502 Bluetooth mouse is lagging on your HP Omnibook 7 Aero, even though it works fine on other laptops. Let’s go through a few steps to fix this.

a. Check Bluetooth Connection & Interference

Make sure no other Bluetooth devices are active nearby that could interfere (headsets, phones, speakers).

Try connecting the mouse directly without a USB hub or extender if using a Bluetooth dongle.

b. Update Bluetooth Drivers

Press Windows + X > Device Manager > Bluetooth.

Right-click your Bluetooth adapter > Update driver > Search automatically.

Alternatively, check HP’s support site for the latest Bluetooth/Wi-Fi combo drivers for your Omnibook 7 Aero.

Restart the laptop after updating.

c. Adjust Power Management Settings

In Device Manager, right-click your Bluetooth adapter > Properties > Power Management.

Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.

Also, go to Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Wireless Adapter Settings and set it to Maximum Performance.

d. Remove & Re-pair the Mouse

Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices, remove the mouse.

Restart the laptop, then pair the mouse again.

e. Check USB Ports (If Using Dongle)

If the mouse uses a Logitech USB receiver, try a different USB port, ideally USB 2.0 instead of USB 3.0, as some ports can interfere with Bluetooth.

f. Disable Enhanced Pointer Precision / High DPI Scaling

Go to Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options.

Uncheck Enhance pointer precision.

Some laptops with high refresh-rate screens or hybrid graphics can experience lag with certain DPI settings.

g. Test in Safe Mode / Clean Boot

Boot the laptop in Safe Mode or Clean Boot to rule out background software conflicts.

If the mouse works fine there, the issue is likely caused by a background app or driver conflict.

I hope this helps.
